Liverpool Boat Show Event February 9 2010

liverpool_boat_show_2011The first ever Liverpool Boat Show is due to take place on Liverpool’s Waterfront in May 2011.

Organisers believe the 10 day event will become one of the most important and spectacular shows of its kind in Europe. It’s hoped the festival will attract 400,000 visitors to the city and inject millions into the city’s economy.

Now, Liverpool businesses and organisations are invited to learn more about this spectacular event and its many opportunities.

Chairman of the organising committee, Sir Robin Knox-Johnston will be hosting an Evening Drinks and Presentation to be held at the Merseyside Maritime Museum on Tuesday February 9th at 6.30pm-8.30pm.

Guest speakers Sir Robin and Cllr Warren Bradley will present the plans for the Liverpool Boat Show and detail the ways in which companies can become actively involved as Founder Partners. The active participation of businesses in the region will be a key factor in ensuring the long-term success of this event for the City.

The one-act play festival, which will run at Liverpool’s Actors Studio from 26 March to 03 April 2020, will be an annual event new to the Arts / Theatre landscape of Merseyside and an ideal platform for potential sponsors to:

  • raise brand awareness and create positive PR and raise awareness of the organisation as a whole
  • provide attractive content for a range of products and services
  • build brand positioning through associative imagery
  • support a sales promotion campaign
  • create internal emotional commitment to the brand
  • act as corporate hospitality that promotes good relations with clients.

The Write Now Festival already includes amongst its patrons / supporters actress Pauline Daniels, BBC presenter Roger Phillips, Arts critic = Angela Heslop and Liverpool Echo Editor-in-Chief Alistair Machray.

With seven one-act plays each receiving a minimum of four performances in the Actors Studio venue both the audience capacity and interest generated will create an excellent marketplace for any potential sponsor to tap into

Essentially, the Festival will be offering a platform for a new approach to reaching the general public with a product or service whilst trying to unearth the next Willy Russell or Carla Lane.

Write Now are not looking for an act of charity and will look to offer a positive return on investment
